Sophia and Aiden - Top two baby names of 2010!... Like them?

Well, officially today the Top baby names of 2010 were announced... Sophia is #1 for girls and Aiden is #1 for boys...

they are very nice but outgoing names!?
Kind of a shame that people are looking to television to determine what to name their baby.



Sophia is nice, I haven't heard it in a while. I can only think of two Sophias off the top of my head, and one is a fictional character.



I've never heard the word "Aiden" before and it doesn't even sound like a name. But I suppose it was the same with Wendy before Peter Pan was written. Given enough time and exposure, I suppose it could eventually sound palatable.Sophia and Aiden - Top two baby names of 2010!... Like them?
I absolutley adore Sophia(currently one of my top names!) Aiden's not my favorite, it's just not really my style.

I used to love Sophia, but I'm so tired of hearing it now. Aiden has never been one of my favourites... I don't hate it but I don't like it.

i have never really cared for aiden but i LOVE the name sophia in my opinion i think aiden sounds kinda geeky

I don't like common names, but I like the name Aiden. Sophia is OK i guess.
