I need help figuring out my top 5 baby boy names?

I am trying to figure out my top 5 baby names so my husband and I can narrow it down to the "one"

I dislike Jax b/c it is so short. I sort of like Jaxon with Jax as a nn, but like the four I listed already better.

Jagger %26amp; Jett are a little strong and edgy. If he is more of an introvert, the name could overpower him. I like these but would steer clear of them. If you really are looking for an edgy name, try one a little more subtle like Holden or Slade (English-Dweller of the valley).

Finn seems more like a nickname. Finnegan would be more substantial, but I don't recommend this name, the four I listed are better.

Jai looks like a typo of the name Kai. I like Kai Allen, not such a fan of Jai. Kai has many origins, one of which is Native American for willow tree.

Kyler is a name of which I have never been a fan. Sounds like Tyler and Kyle smashed together.

Presley will always remind people of Elvis and sounds a little feminine as a first name IMO.

Case...no. Did you mean Chase? If not, what about Gage Allen?



I hope this input helped, Cole Allen or Jasper Allen are definitely my faves.
I love the names Cole and Finn! I think they're so classic and adorable, but both can work for a grown man as well as a boy. However, I really don't like the others. Many of them are just too odd and made-up sounding (sorry!) and other ones maybe could work for a toddler, but can you imagine a grown man named Jett, Presley or Jagger? Drake: Not bad

Jasper: Not crazy about it

Jagger: I love Mick

Jai: Are you Asian?

Jett: John Travolta's son

Finn: Is it short for Phineas? Sounds fishy to me

Cole: Probably the best - but doesn't flow with Allen (A name I like!)

Kyler: I prefer Kyle

Presley: Elvis.........

Beau: Short for Beauregard

Case: Suit or brief??


The five names I like best from your list: Jasper, Jett (only as a middle name), Kyler (awesome name!!!), Presley (although I associate this name more for a dog, no offense!), and Beau.

I like all of them except Jax, Jai, Jagger, Beau and Case if that helps. My fav one is probably Jasper Allen or Drake Allen As great as the first names Cole Allen and Finn Allen are dont really go with the mid name.
